Chapter 342: Royal Family
Julian originally made the video just to answer some of his fans' questions, hoping to clear up their doubts. He never expected it to cause such a huge reaction.
By the next day, his video had shot up to the top five on the trending news list and ranked third on Geek Search.
Many casual trainers outright refused to believe what Julian said in the video, thinking he was completely exaggerating.
However, as officially vertified professionals stepped in, they confirmed that Julian's video wasn't exaggerated at all.
Some even felt that Julian was being modest. After all, with the financial power of the Walker Group, spending one or two million a day on Pokémon food was on the low end.
And in reality, Julian had indeed understated the costs—because all the energy cubes in the video came from the system and weren't even available for purchase anywhere.
A senior breeder from Drakoria even left a comment under Julian's video:
"Excuse me, Mr. Walker, which breeder did you commission for these energy cubes? Even through the screen, I can tell that these cubes are absolutely flawless."
Someone replied below:
"It must've been made by a top-tier breeder, right?"
But that comment was quickly refuted.
"I'm a top-tier breeder myself, and I can't make something like this."
"Wait… are you saying these were made by a Master Breeder?"
"It's very possible."
Pokémon breeders are divided into five ranks:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced/Senior, Top, and Master.
Beginner and Intermediate breeders were common, and most people could reach these levels.
But after reaching Advanced, the number of breeders dropped sharply.
Advanced breeders were capable of caring for Elite-level Pokémon, and almost every Elite trainer had a personal Advanced Breeder.
Top-tier Breeders were even rarer—Elite trainers had to fight for their attention.
As for Master Breeders, there were only three known in all of Drakoria. Rumor had it that even First-class Legendary Pokémon couldn't resist the energy cubes they created.
There were fewer Master Breeders than Champion Trainers.
As speculation ran wild over whether Julian's energy cubes came from a Top-tier Breeder or a Master Breeder, the man himself was completely unbothered.
At this moment, Julian was lying on Arcanine's back, playing an online game with Slowking and Celebi.
Celebi: "When is Pokémon Glory going to release a Celebi hero?"
Julian, controlling Aggron, had the enemy Golem pinned inside its tower. Hearing Celebi's complaint, he smirked:
"Why would they add such a trash hero? If they ever do, I'd ban it instantly."
Celebi: "Hmph! Fine, then next match, I'm banning Aggron!"
Julian: "Doesn't matter. I'm an all-rounder anyway."
"Golem, you have no honor! Calling for backup like that?"
Watching his Aggron get ganged up on by the enemy Venusaur and Golem, Julian furiously typed a message in the game chat.
Vileplume: "Do you even know how to play? You were pushing the tower that deep—who else were they supposed to gank?"
Vileplume was their mid-laner.
Aggron: "Our mid-laner says none of you are worth anything. If you've got the skills, kill him twenty times."
Vileplume: (???)
---
Frank had given the Special Recruitment Class a month to complete their tasks.
Julian had finished it in less than five days, so the rest of his time was his to spend however he wanted.
He spent the morning gaming and headed to the library in the afternoon.
He remembered there was a book on raising Gabite that he wanted to check out.
It cost 100 academic points per hour, which was pretty expensive.
But the book was written by Victor Drake, the current Dragon Elite. Even though it was one of his earlier works, it still contained a lot of valuable insights.
Gabite was a future pseudo-legendary, and it was already close to evolving into Garchomp.
Right now, the only two Pokémon Julian needed to focus on were Gabite and Honedge—both were low-level but close to evolution.
The rest of his team was already at the peak of pseudo-Elite level. All they needed was time to accumulate energy.
Three hours later, Julian closed the book, just as he was about to leave the library, five people approached him—two women and three men, all blond-haired and blue-eyed.
By the looks it was clear that these five weren't here for friendly conversation—their aura practically screamed hostility.
"Julian Walker, we are Pokémon Trainers from Gallia. And I am a member of the Gallian Royal Family."
The speaker was the tallest and most handsome of the three men—a whole head taller than Julian.
Since Julian was still seated, the man spoke with an air of arrogance, looking down at him both literally and figuratively.
His aristocratic presence made it clear that he truly came from royalty.
Imperial University was not only one of the top universities in Drakoria but also one of the best in the world. Naturally, it attracted many foreign trainers.
Some were exchange students, while others were full-time international students.
And these five were exchange students.
Julian slowly stood up from his seat. Although he was half a head shorter, the invisible pressure he exuded made the five of them visibly uncomfortable.
Even the arrogant royal's expression stiffened.
"So… you're here for Honedge?" Julian asked calmly.
The moment the man claimed to be from the Gallian Royal Family, Julian already knew why they were here.
When Honedge made an appearance on TikTok the other day, he had expected trouble to follow—he just didn't think it would come knocking this quickly.
"Honedge is a symbol of our Gallian Royal Family. My cousin disappeared in a secret realm not long ago, and we haven't been able to find her."
Julian followed his words smoothly.
"So, she's dead. Completely erased from existence."
The man's expression instantly darkened. Deep down, he knew what Julian said was likely true. But hearing it bluntly stated to his face still infuriated him.
Without a word, the trainer raised his fist and swung it straight at Julian's face.
His plan was simple—beat him to a pulp and take his Honedge.
Although he had heard rumors that Julian was physically strong, but he had never taken them seriously. After all, he was confident in his own strength.
The punch tore through the air with a sharp whoosh, its speed and power undeniable.
If it landed, most people would be knocked out cold on the spot.
PAH
A crisp sound echoed through the library.
Julian caught the punch with his bare hand—effortlessly.
The next second, the royal family member let out a bloodcurdling scream.
"AAAAHHHHH!!"
He could feel it—his hand bones shattering under Julian's grip.
Julian continued to exert force, the man's knuckles visibly deformed, his entire fist collapsing in on itself, the bones inside were completely crushed by Julian.
Some bone fragments even pierced through his skin.
