Dual Cultivation

Chapter 1112 Lover's Bridge

Chapter 1112 Lover's Bridge

Su Yang and Elder Chu cultivated with each other nonstop for half a day, with Elder Chu climaxing every few minutes.

By the time they were done, Elder Chu resembled the Pleasure Evaluation Doll but with more satisfaction on her face, and her body was twitching nonstop.

"What are your plans now that you are an Inner Court disciple? Do you really intend on becoming a Core Disciple within two months?" Elder Chu asked him as she used her slender finger to wipe Su Yang's Yang Qi on her body before putting it inside her mouth to savor it.

"Of course. Do you have any tips?" Su Yang responded with a smile.

"You're asking me for tips at this point?" She looked at him with wide eyes.

"It's never too late to ask for help."

Elder Chu fell silent to ponder.

"There is only one way to become a Core Disciple—by passing the assessment. However, unlike the Inner Court Disciple assessment, you cannot take the Core Disciple assessment as you please. You have to be chosen for the assessment."

"Is that so? How does the sect choose who to assess?" Su Yang asked despite already knowing the answer.

"There are two methods. One, you earn enough contributions through sect missions and get a good ranking in competitions. The second method is to get at least six sect elders or the Sect Leader herself to endorse you."

"So I need at least five more sect elders, huh?" Su Yang looked at Elder Chu with a suggestive gaze.

Elder Chu gently smacked his buttocks and said, "You think you can earn my endorsement so easily? You'll need to please me for at least a few more months!"

"You know I don't have that much time. If you don't endorse me and I fail to become a Core Disciple before the time limit, I'll have to leave this sect. Are you okay with that?"

"And whose fault do you think it is that you're in this situation?" Elder Chu sneered.

Su Yang shook his head with a bittersweet smile. However, he never intended to get the sect elders' endorsement. After all, he had the Sect Leader. Moreover, there were other ways to become a Core Disciple.

"Then I won't bother you any longer, Elder Chu. You can leave whenever you are ready. I'll clean up when I come back."

Su Yang began putting on his clothes.

"Where are you going?" she inquired with an interested face.

"I only have so much time to become a Core Disciple, you know? And I have already wasted half a day here to cultivate with you."

"You dare call our cultivation a waste of time? Are you asking for a beating?" She frowned.

He shrugged and said, "Anything that doesn't help me get closer to my promotion as a Core Disciple is a waste of time. After all, my life depends on it."

Elder Chu couldn't argue with his logic.

"Fine, I will endorse you. I was just teasing you just now."

Su Yang nodded with a smile, "Thank you, Elder Chu. I knew I could count on you."

He didn't bother mentioning that he didn't need it.

'But it's still good to have a backup plan just in case the others don't work out.' Su Yang thought to himself.

"By the way, do you intend on moving out of this place? You can move to the Inner Court now, you know." Elder Chu asked him as she cleaned herself in the bathroom.

"No, I have no such plans. I like the quiet atmosphere around here, and there aren't many disciples wandering around."

"You sure? This place has a bad reputation."

"That kind of thing doesn't bother me in the slightest." Su Yang responded as he cleaned the bedroom.

"If you insist."

"By the way, is the Sect Leader available? I'd like to speak with her," he suddenly asked.

"No, she went somewhere a while ago."

"Oh? Where to?"

"No clue."

"Then do you know when she'll be back?"

"Also no clue."

"When did she leave?"

"Sometime after she examined your Yang—" Elder Chu abruptly halted her sentence, as she'd accidentally spewed a secret that wasn't meant to be revealed.

"Oh? During the Yang Qi King, or before that—like when I shared some of my friend's Yang Qi."

"…" Elder Chu began sweating, afraid that it might offend him.

"Relax, I figured you'd do something like that, anyway."

Elder Chu sighed, "Yes, the Sect Leader examined your… your friend's Yang Qi, and she left shortly afterward."

"I see. Thank you for letting me know." Su Yang said with a profound smile on his face.

Sometime later, Su Yang left his living quarters and made his way to a certain location within the Inner Court.

However, as he approached his destination, he noticed a silhouette standing outside.

"What a coincidence, fellow disciple." Su Yang approached the female disciple.

"Fancy new uniform, Disciple Xiao." Chun Hua greeted him with a beautiful smile.

"Thank you. I received it yesterday."

"I see. And what brought you here to the Lover's Bridge?" Chun Hua asked him.

"So that's what this place is called. I was just looking around the Inner Court when I stumbled upon this place."

"This place used to be very significant and popular with disciples, but it is now just a random peak amongst the hundreds of available peaks in the Boundless Yin Yang Sect."

"What is so significant about this place?" Su Yang inquired.

"There's a legend that promises eternal love to those who truly love each other if they make their vow on that bridge," Chun said, her gaze fixed on the well-maintained bridge in the distance.

"Oh? Since you are here, does that mean you made a vow with someone here?" Su Yang inquired.

"…"

After a moment of silence, she nodded and spoke in a low voice, "Yes, I made a vow with someone when I first joined this sect, and he broke my heart shortly later."

"Where is this guy now? Is he still in the sect?"

"Who knows? He left this sect a long time ago, probably dead. I couldn't care less about him now." Chun Hua shrugged with a bittersweet smile on her face.
