?

"Two Servants, and one of them is... Ruler?"

Rin Tohsaka blinked, her sky-blue eyes widening as she looked at the two Servants before her.

Drawing on her extensive knowledge from participating in a previous Holy Grail War, she quickly recalled the unique nature of the Ruler class.

As she pieced things together, she instinctively turned to Promise and asked, "Have you allied with the Ruler?"

The Ruler class, or Arbiter, was an extraordinary role in the Holy Grail War.

Only those who died without any lingering desires could qualify to serve as a Ruler.

Furthermore, due to the Ruler's role in safeguarding the integrity of the Grail War, they typically didn't have a Master.

Based on this, Rin's question was a natural and logical deduction.

However, before Promise could answer, Jeanne d'Arc, who had been taking care of Tsubaki, stood up with a serene smile as she looked at the gathered group and spoke softly:

"No. In this Holy Grail War, while I still serve as Ruler, I am also Promise's Servant."

Her declaration left everyone stunned for a moment.

After a brief pause, someone pointed to Jason, lounging lazily on the couch, and asked Promise, "Then what about him?"

"He's my Servant as well," Promise said plainly, as though it were the most natural thing in the world. "Both of them were summoned together by me."

His matter-of-fact response silenced the group again.

A dual summoning, with one of the Servants being a Ruler?

This was unprecedented in every sense!

Even Shirou Emiya looked at Promise with a mix of shock and confusion.

Normally, if one possessed such an unpredictable trump card, they would want to keep it a secret.

Yet Promise had revealed everything openly, baffling those present.

After all, Promise wasn't like Flat, who might blurt out such things thoughtlessly.

From their perspective, Promise's apparent desperation to obtain the Grail explained why someone without even basic magical qualifications could be chosen as a Master.

Tohsaka Rin was the first to come to her senses.

After carefully looking at the young man again, she turned her head to look at Jeanne and asked pointedly

"As Ruler, you're supposed to safeguard the Grail War. So, where does your allegiance lie? Protecting the Grail War, or helping Promise obtain the Grail?"

Hearing this, Jeanne's expression grew serious as she thought for a moment, before she replied with sincerity.

"I will give my all to help Promise obtain the Grail."

"...I see," Rin said, nodding slowly as she accepted Jeanne's answer, though her expression remained conflicted.

Afterward, she turned her attention to Kuruoka Tsubaki, the young girl Promise had been tasked with protecting.

Not long after, the group of students who had scattered earlier returned, announcing that they had secured a hidden residence and set up a makeshift magical workshop.

With their next steps clear, the majority of the group bid farewell to Promise, leaving only a few, including Shirou Emiya, to stay behind for further discussion.

...

...

On the way out, Rin approached Luvia Celestia Edelfelt, her rival and occasional ally, and asked,

"What do you make of Promise?"

"He's hiding a significant secret," Luvia replied without hesitation, her tone matter-of-fact. "And it's precisely because of that secret that he doesn't care about revealing all his Servants."

Rin nodded thoughtfully, agreeing with Luvia's assessment.

"Not only that," another student chimed in as they joined the conversation. "Did you notice the way that Servant, Jason, looked at us? His eyes were full of mischief, like he's waiting for some grand drama to unfold."

"And Jeanne d'Arc's response is also strange. She's a Ruler, yet she's so determined to help Promise claim the Grail?"

Upon hearing this, Tohsaka Rin and Luvia fell silent at the same time.

Finally, another voice broke the quiet-a student with a sharp gaze and a confident demeanor.

"I don't think we need to overanalyze everything,"

"Something tells me Promise's goals won't conflict with ours... at least, not yet.

"My instincts tell me we should focus on the bigger picture. Whatever secrets he's hiding, they won't directly harm us-for now."

When Svin made ths comment, the tense atmosphere among the group immediately eased.

"Well, though he may have some secrets, I actually think the same way," Luvia said, nodding in agreement.

"Promise clearly harbors no ill will toward us. The fact that he revealed his Servants so openly shows he wants us to understand that."

"I never doubted that,"

Rin replied, shaking her head.

"He's a fellow student of the professor, after all. Though he's always been a bit reclusive, his nature isn't bad.

"I just..."

I just want to know what he's hiding.

Whether it was as if he had suddenly become a different person, or those clear green eyes that seemed to know and see through everything.

She recalled the moment Promise introduced Kuruoka Tsubaki to her, the strange gaze he had directed at her.

She knew that Promise and Emiya Shirou had a very good relationship, but no matter how good their relationship was, Shirou would never tell him about what happened to Matou

Sakura.

Yet the way Promise looked at her at that moment... he clearly knew more than he should. Rin held many questions in her heart but chose to keep them to herself for now. Their immediate priority, after all, was something far more pressing: becoming official Masters in the Holy Grail War.

After setting up their new base of operations, the group contacted Waver Velvet and used Clock Tower resources to quickly identify potential targets.

That very night, they approached a mage who had already been chosen as a Master. Rin personally issued a formal challenge and emerged victorious.

With the Command Seals transferred to her hand, she once again became an active Master in

the Holy Grail War.

And then.

Name..

The Rider of the Amazons

Later that evening, in a villa on the outskirts of town, the students under Waver's tutelage

gathered.

Promise, Jason, and Jeanne were invited to join the meeting.

Under the dim light of the moonlit sky, the newly summoned Servants began introducing

themselves.

One figure in particular stood out-a striking young woman with fiery red hair tied into an elegant bun at the back of her head.

She wore a combination of soft fabric and leather armor, her appearance suggesting she was no more than eighteen years old.

As Jason stared at her in astonishment, the woman stepped forward and said confidently:

"True Name: Hippolyta."

Hippolyta.

A queen of the Amazons, daughter of Ares and the priestess Otrera, and a powerful demi-god

hero.

What shocked Jason and Promise even more was her connection to Greek mythology.

Like Jason and Promise, she hailed from their shared mythological era and was deeply

intertwined with some of their closest friends.

Hippolyta had a subtle relationship with both Heracles and Theseus.

One of Heracles' Twelve Labors required him to travel to the land of the Amazons and take the

belt of war granted to Hippolyta by her father, Ares.

Initially, because she admired the great Hero, she willingly handed the belt to Heracles,

However, due to a misunderstanding, the two eventually came to blows, resulting in two

different versions of her story.

In one version, Heracles accidentally killed her in the heat of battle.

In the other, he captured her and brought her to mainland Greece. Later, Theseus tricked her into coming to Athens, where they eventually married.

Regardless of the version, the tales involving Hippolyta were deeply intertwined with both

Heracles and Theseus.

And the most curious part?

Both Heracles and Theseus had been among Promise's closest friends in their era.

So, at that moment, as Promise responded to the story of Hippolyta's legend and looked at

the vibrant woman before him, a flicker of awkwardness clearly crossed his face.

His discomfort, however, went largely unnoticed as most of the group's attention was

focused on the interaction between Jason and Hippolyta.

"Queen of the Amazons, Hippolyta?"

Jason asked, his tone curious as he scrutinized the legendary figure standing before him.

Apparently, this was the first time they had met.

"And you must be Jason, King of Iolcos, captain of the Argo?"

Hippolyte also looked at this captain of the Argo, who had never been seen in the Age of Gods

and was famous throughout ancient Greece, and then said.

"I've heard the stories. After the adventure for the Golden Fleece, you supposedly abandoned

your hard-earned throne and glory to embark on another journey-searching for the hero

beloved by the Goddess of Wisdom.

"Did you ever find him?"

Hearing her words, Jason's expression turned, and he let out a faint laugh, but before he could

answer, Hippolyta shook her head apologetically.

"My apologies. That was a foolish question,

If you had succeeded, I doubt you would be standing here now."

Hippolyta's words did not surprise the gathered students.

From what they knew of Jason's legend, it was easy to infer that his participation in the Holy

Grail War was driven by his wish to use the Grail to find the hero he sought.

And, to be honest, this assumption was correct.

However...

..

Jason, with an obviously playful smile, tilted his head to glance at Promise, then raised the

corner of his mouth slightly, stepped back to the boy's side, gestured toward Promise and

introduced him:

"And this here is my current Master. His name is... Promise!"
