“Mrs. Marshall, your wedding dress is ready. Would you like to try it on now?”
Before Olivia Jenkins could answer, Abigail Anderson, excited, hugged her, “Yes, let’s try it on right now. I believe you’d look gorgeous in a wedding dress, Olivia.”
Valerie Howard suddenly chimed in jokingly: “I feel like getting married too!”
Abigail laughed and said: “Valerie, who’s the lucky one? Hurry, join us and we can have our weddings together. I believe you’ll make a beautiful bride-to-be.”
Olivia, however, coaxed Abigail gently, delicately supporting her, “Soon-to-be mama, you need to calm down, don’t get too excited. You’d scare Jordan Bennett if he were here. Remember, you’re eating for two now, no jumping around.”
Hehe… I forgot I’m pregnant.”
Simon Jackson could already sense their happiness. He raised an eyebrow and spoke with a slight smile, “Mrs. Marshall, why don’t you try on the wedding dress first?”
Olivia, not wanting to let everyone down, agreed to try on the wedding dress since Simon had suggested it.
A few minutes later, Olivia, wearing a low-cut wedding dress, slowly walked out of dressing room number two.
In an instant, Abigail and Valerie were spellbound, their eyes wide open. “Olivia, you look absolutely stunning, like a fairy descended from heaven.”
“No, even more beautiful than a fairy!”
Olivia lowered her eyes slightly, blushing, “Mrs. Ingram, your design is superb, I love it. Thank you so much!”
Abigail chimed in: “Absolutely, it’s wonderful. We all look more beautiful. Not even an international master could do better.”
Simon, modest and humble, brushed his bangs aside lightly, “You flatter me, I still need to improve, but I appreciate your support.”
Valerie couldn’t wait, pulling out her phone, “Mrs. Ingram, could you take a few pictures for us?”
Simon nodded and took Valerie’s phone.
Immediately, the three friends struck different poses, capturing their joyful moments and turning them into eternity.
To match Olivia’s and Abigail’s wedding dresses, Simon specially asked Valerie to change into a same white cocktail dress. This way, the photoshoot of the three of them matched perfectly.
Simon was more than happy to help them take pictures, even giving advice on their poses.
Compared to the previous wedding dresses, Olivia preferred Simon’s design.
…
The wedding dresses were already tried on. Olivia and Abigail were very pleased. After Simon had tidied them up, he would have them delivered right to their doorsteps.
Olivia and others left the Jackson Corporation first to go shopping with pregnant Abigail. Olivia and Valerie didn’t feel comfortable leaving Abigail on her own.
When they saw McDonald’s, Abigail’s mouth started watering, “I want to eat. Cover for me, don’t tell Jordan. Ever since I got pregnant, I haven’t been as miserable as others, throwing up every other day. Instead, my appetite has been incredibly good. I see food and I want to eat it.
I sneaked and ate some popsicles, but got caught by Jordan. I could only watch as he finished them. I swear, I wanted to punch him! I’m seriously craving!”
Olivia reminded her with a laugh: “If you keep up this pace, I’m not so sure the wedding dress would fit. I understand your cravings, but you should eat a bit, exercise moderation.”
Abigail swallowed her saliva, then pulled out some spicy strips from her bag to share with Valerie, “I hid these too. If discovered, they’d surely be confiscated. I feel that ever since I got pregnant, I’ve had to pit my wits against Jordan every day. I feel smarter after getting pregnant.”
