Chapter 72 Harry gets enraged

Chapter 72 Harry gets enraged

Harry decided to visit his home while they wait for Sandra and her dad to make a move. Natasha didn't mind this and went back to help at the base while Xander decided to follow his friend. Of course, Hannah decided to tag along.

Harry, along with Xander and Hannah were being stared at by people on the streets. Probably because of the uniform they wore.

The flying cars and taxis still operated and nothing have happened since the beginning of today. No crimes, no problems with returnees, and no news of gangbanging which was weird.

"We should have changed clothes," Harry said uncomfortably.

"For what? These outfits look so good. It's not bad to be admired once in a while." Hannah was very comfortable about the situation and revelled in it further.

Xander just turned around and looked at them with a smile. He looked around to see some kids waving at him with smiles.

He waved back and continued walking while Hannah and Harry talked behind him.

Harry got more comfortable with the looks that they were getting and he began talking naturally with Hannah.

"So what's your family like?" Hannah asked, her beautiful green eyes darting towards Harry's face.

"My family? Well, they're family. No matter how annoying they can be, no matter how they always tell me to wash the plates, they're still family."

"That sounds nice." Hannah looked down for a bit.

Meanwhile, Harry's expression changed as he heard Hannah's reaction towards 'What his family was like.

'How is it nice? It's bondage for real. I bet you haven't washed any plates in your life as the sister of a big star.' But he didn't voice out his thoughts and just sighed.

He couldn't help but glance at Hannah's pretty face once in a while.

'Xander's natural charm is so OP. I'll have to up my game if I am to beat him in this game.' He thought as he imagined Hannah in a wedding dress.

After more minutes of walking they finally reached a bungalow which wasn't too luxurious. The frontage was clean and the vases with flowers around were well maintained.

"All yours buddy." Xander stepped back.

Harry looked down at his hands and saw them shaking and one of his brows raised in confusion. 'Why the hell am I feeling nervous? This is where I live.' He strengthened his mentality before pressing the doorbell gently.

*Ding Dong*

They waited and no reply came from within. Harry pressed it a few more times and still no reply came.

"Anybody home?!" Harry shouted but still no reply.

"Maybe they left because of the recent crimes and stuff." Xander put a hand on Harry's shoulder.

Harry put on a sad expression and turned around and another hand rested on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Harry. You'll find your parents. You could try putting a call through." Sandra suggested as she comforted Harry.

"Yeah. You could try that." Xander supported the suggestion.

"Alright."

Harry took out his phone and began dailing a number on his keypad. He put the phone close to his ear and then a sound came from within the house.

The familiar sound of his mom's phone ringing.

"Maybe they left their phones?" Hannah said, confused at her own statement.

"Maybe–"

*Crash!*

The sound of glass being shattered on the floor reached their ears and Harry turned around and kicked the door open, making a loud banging noise.

The three of them entered the living room to see four men holding his family captive. One of the men was holding his father's mouth while the another one held his mother's mouth on the couch.

Harry looked at the other couch to see another man holding his little sister down on the chair, closing her mouth. Seems like they didn't want Harry to know they were here.

Harry's brows furrowed and as he took a step forward he heard a clicking sound.

"Stay back!" The last of the four men that wasn't holding anyone pointed a gun at Harry.

Xander and Hannah were speechless about the whole situation. First of all, why target a decent family? For what reason?

"Arghh!" The man holding his father shouted as his dad punched the man in his stomach before standing up.

His mom also bit on the one holding her, his finger to be exact and he squealed in pain before letting her go and they slowly walked backwards towards Harry and his group.

"Stay back or the girl gets it!"

The last man pointed the gun towards the little girl and the one holding her stood up and held her by her shoulders.

Tears flowed down Eve's cute cheeks as her brown eyes quivered in fear as a gun was pointed at her head.

"Big brother!" She squealed as her lips quivered.

Xander's eyes glowed brightly as anger surged through him. As he was about to move he felt a hand block him and that's when he looked at Harry.

Harry's expression was the pure definition of anger as he looked at his little sister being held at gunpoint.

She wasn't as fast as him or have abilities like him so she can't dodge bullets.

"What do you guys want?" Harry asked, his gaze moving from one of the men to another.

"Hehehe. Smart boy. We're returnees, and we just want some useful stuff. The rich folks moved to an area protected by those darn elites, so now we're robbing normal folks yeah."

"Oh. And why are you holding a twelve year old child at gunpoint?" Hannah asked, angry at the men.

"Hm. It's not the first time we're doing something like this. Seeing your uniforms you guys must be part of those darn elites. Desperate times call for desperate methods."

None of them spoke up again. Xander was just angry at the whole thing as he stared at Eve who was visibly shaking in fear.

He knew that if he made a move, a bullet would go through the little girl's skull and he couldn't just move. He doubted that his Primordial chains would be faster than bullets, and even if they were he was further away from Eve than the gun was.

Seeing the group not saying anything the man with the gun spoke up.

"Now. We're going to leave this place unscathed, and you get the girl. Deal?"

From the looks of it, the man wasn't willing to negotiate so Harry just nodded and signaled for everyone to move backwards to let the men pass.

The men walked cautiously towards the door. The ones who were bitten and punched looked at Harry's parents in annoyance as they passed.

At that moment a huge truck passed, casting a shadow into their home and Harry's brows furrowed.

"ARGGHHH!!" The man with the gun screamed as his hand sliced off of his body and blood spurted on the ground like a running tap.
