Chapter 117 Majesty Persona

Chapter 117 Majesty Persona

Arthur flew quickly away from the Dark Pillar area towards the east. There, not many adventurers had set their sights; only a handful of them had gone.

Two adventurer group bases stand firmly there, located in different regions. The appearance of a mage with the ability to fly in the sky startled them.

One of the groups close to the snowy mountainous area ordered its members to follow the mage's trail. They needed to confirm that the mage was not a danger to their group's existence.

Arthur squinted, sensing that two beast servants in the form of an eagle and an owl were chasing him from behind. The young man stopped his flying and hovered in the air, coming face to face with the two beast servants.

'Has anyone noticed my presence here?' Arthur asked, curious.

Sure enough, five different magic fluctuations were felt below, close to the tropical forest area —two women and three men. They turned their heads to the sky and stared at Arthur intently, curious about the young stranger.

"Come down from the sky, sir. I have something to ask you," one of the men replied.

Not wanting to cause trouble, Arthur complied and flew down until he was on the forest floor. The two beast servants followed and flew near their master.

"Sorry if we interrupted your journey. You just crossed the sky of our base. There's something our chief wants to confirm," the man explained, stepping closer to Arthur.

"What is it?"

"Where are you heading? What group are you from? What is your name?" the man asked without thinking.

Arthur noticed the expressions of the five people before him. They seemed wary as they continued to stare at Arthur intently. It was natural for them to do so since Arthur could fly, which was quite rare.

"I'm looking for a waterfall around the snowy mountains. I'm Arthur, and I'm from Sky Sword."

"Sky Sword? Your base is far from here."

"That's right. I just got to this floor, so I haven't had a chance to visit it yet," Arthur explained.

Hearing the name Sky Sword come out of Arthur's mouth allowed the five people to breathe a sigh of relief, relax, and so on. Two beast servants returned to their master's body, the man in front of Arthur introduced himself. He was Niam, from the Snow Peak Group.

He explained that the two groups had no history of hostility, which made Niam not worry about Arthur and vice versa with Arthur.

Niam said the snowy mountains had five waterfalls, two in the north, one in the south, and the rest in the east. However, Niam forbade Arthur to go to the south as the waterfalls there were controlled by Snow Ogres.

"Snow Ogre?"

He had just heard of the monster. Usually, Ogres are monsters that inhabit warm and wetlands. Arthur asked about the monster's characteristics, and Niam was happy to answer him.

"A level 95 monster, it has ice footsteps, a large body, and ice armor. Its deadly attack is a freezing blast."

"They're solitary monsters. You don't need to be afraid of them ganging up on you," Niam replied.

Not knowing the exact location of the waterfall Thalenia wanted, he summoned the woman from inside his body.

[Servant Activated]

[Servant Race Mythological]

[1. Thalenia (Nymph)]

[Name: Aaron]

Thalenia's figure appeared in the form of a green vine from above the ground, standing up and taking the full shape of the woman's body. The five people watched the transformation, none of them putting on a guarded stance.

"You finally made it here, Arthur."

The five people looked at each other, shocked. Beast Servant and Race Mythological Servant were two different things, especially power. It was lucky for them that Arthur chose the peaceful option instead of attacking.

"I've reached the 14th floor. I found the snowy mountains for the first time, but I don't know which waterfall you're referring to," Arthur replied, arms crossed.

"Oh, that's easy, Arthur."

Thalenia turned around and looked at the snowy mountains, trying to recall her previous memories. Arthur let Thalenia do her thing with her mind.

Long enough for her to be silent in her long thought, Thalenia could be heard sighing. Arthur turned his head, asking about the results of her memory reflection. The woman shook her head slowly.

"I can't remember."

"Then it looks like we'll have to search some waterfalls for it."

"B-But I remember the characteristics of that waterfall. It always glowed at night. The water seemed to glow by itself," Thalenia said.

"It's a celestial waterfall," Niam replied, making Arthur frown.

He explained that the waterfall's location was in the north, close to the base of one of the small groups. Still, since the waterfall was in its territory, it would be difficult for Arthur to get there.

Niam confirmed what the servant said. The water did glow at night, and it was always worshiped by the group that controlled the place.

It is said that they believe spirits from mythology live there, guarding their group from destruction. That's why the celestial waterfall was constantly guarded for their safety and group.

"Alright. We'll be there soon," Arthur said.

"Be careful. They're a conservative and strict group; you'll have a difficult time dealing with them."

Arthur nodded, listening carefully to Niam's instructions. With Thalenia flying beside him, Niam and his fellow group members returned to the Snow Peak base to inform their leader of Arthur's identity.

During the journey, Arthur asked why Thalenia wanted to arrive at the celestial waterfall. Thalenia said she missed her friend, someone who lived behind the waterfall, whom she had not seen for hundreds of years.

'Is her friend someone of the same mythological race?" Arthur asked.

"I can't wait to see what her face will be like when she meets me," Thalenia explained.

"She'll be pleased, of course."

Arthur and Thalenia could already hear the gurgling of the waterfall from their positions. The woman of the Nymph race was getting excited, eager to meet her friend. Still, Arthur prevented her on the grounds that a group of adventurers were guarding the place.

What Niam said was true. The adventurer group's base area complex stood close to the waterfall, north of the place. They unfurled a white flag with a water symbol in it, glorifying the power of the celestial waterfall.

Without any announcement, Arthur and Thalenia landed firmly in front of the group's base. The group members wearing strange all-white uniforms instantly directed their magic forward, being wary of the appearance of the two mysterious people.

"Who are you? What do you want to do?" asked the base's gatekeeper.

"I am Arthur, and she is Thalenia. I've come to visit the Celestial Falls."

"Come to our sacred place? Have you lost your mind? No stranger can visit the place at will."

"The Celestial waterfall is not a tourist spot. Listen carefully, asshole!" he snapped again.

"I'll pay a high price for you to let us in," Arthur insisted.

Hearing the noise outside the base made their leader walk out gracefully. The leader of the group stepped out after opening the door of the ancient temple-like building. She arrived wearing a long dress like an ancient goddess.

Her hair was white, as white as the color of her skin. When she opened her eyes, her pupils were blue, like the color of the sky. Arthur felt something strange when they locked eyes.

'The power of persona? But what kind is this?' Arthur asked.

"Welcome to the Celestial Water base," said the woman.

Arthur felt a feeling of awe and obedience rise in his heart when he saw her. Arthur had expected it. Her persona was the majesty persona.

'Damn! Did she cause all this? Are these fanatics the result of her majesty persona's influence?'

'I understand the situation now.'
