Strongest Spirit Beast Master Family

Chapter 392

Chapter 392

After feeding a healing pill to Red and allowing it to absorb the remedy, Blaze Regret cast a serious gaze towards the second large gate of the palace. Despite the palace's intricate complexity, the light emitted from the rock fragment pointed in that direction.

As they proceeded, Blaze Regret and Red shattered countless stone statues. Blaze Regret seemed indifferent to this time consuming process, as collecting Thunder Soul Beads was never part of his plan. Through the battles with the statues, Red's aura became increasingly refined, even showing signs of advancing to the lord level.

Of course, while Blaze Regret felt a surge of joy, he understood that such advancements couldn't be rushed. The breakthrough from Imperial level to lord level was even more challenging than jumping two tiers consecutively.

"This palace is more terrifying than I imagined. Earlier, I opened a room door on a whim, only to find the statues inside possessed the power of a fifth tier King level."

Clutching the rock fragment tightly, Blaze Regret patted his chest, breathing heavily and feeling a sense of relief. He realized that the path indicated by the rock fragment led him through the least defended areas. After the previous lessons, he dared not wander aimlessly anymore. The last encounter was with a fifth tier King Realm entity, and he estimated that other rooms might even house spirit beasts surpassing the King realms.

Standing before the room where the light was the brightest, Blaze Regret observed the peculiar patterns on the stone door, pursing his lips slightly. He wondered if the secret technique of the Flowing Sand Transformation Wings truly lay behind the door.

"Let's hope it doesn't disappoint me."

As Blaze Regret pushed open the stone door, he was unaware that several figures in yellow robes had also stepped into the palace at that moment.

Seeing the shattered statues scattered across the ground, the leader of the group gave a sinister, cold smile.

"Heh, it seems someone beat us to it."

"There's nothing we can do. The Northern Saint Sect was too vast, and it's normal for some lucky individuals to stumble upon scattered tokens. Just like a few hundred years ago, when our Sand Palace's founder happened to acquire a token, came to this Northern Saint Sect's ruins, and found a trace of the Northern Saint Beast's blood essence and the secret technique of the Flowing Sand Transformation Wings, leading to our powerful rise."

"Such glory can certainly be recreated through us, the descendants, until we once again dominate the Sun Moon Empire."

"So, let the little guy who entered first meet his end within."

"Indeed."

"Ding ding dang dang!"

In the vast hall, a fiery yellow figure continuously collided with a pure white figure, the crisp sound of metal clashing echoing ceaselessly.

Entangled with the Reds was a peculiar rock type spirit beast. It was about the size of a palm, surrounded by mysterious runes, with a crystal clear disc suspended behind its body, emitting a gentle white light, appearing quite exquisite.

"Master Magi, I've never heard of such a spirit beast before," Blaze Regret muttered quietly, his eyes fixed on the white figure.

"Oh?"

Floating out from the void realm stone, Master Magi glanced upward, a strange expression quickly appearing on his face. "It's actually a Turing. This type of spirit beast has long been extinct on the continent. I never expected to have the chance to see one again."

"An extinct spirit beast..."

A gleam flashed in Blaze Regret's eyes. The existence of this continent has stretched over countless ages, and some spirit beasts might vanish completely without a trace. The Turing before him was one such creature.

However, though it could still launch attacks against the Reds, there was no trace of life left within its body. Clearly, like the statues outside, it was preserved through some special means, merely a lifeless object.

"Whoosh!"

The Turing soared into mid air, the crystal disc behind it spinning rapidly. In an instant, a beam of light as thick as an arm shot out, piercing through the air, heading straight for the Reds.

As the beam descended, a streak of icy blue light suddenly slashed down from the sky. The Ice Control Irenix, with ice wings like a sharp sword, instantly struck the Turing to the ground.

"Swish!"

With a slight flicker, it dodged the descending beam. The Four fiery tails of the Reds swiftly extended, hovering in mid air, then sharpened like blades, slashing down fiercely.

Under such a torrential assault, the Turing's body shattered with a crack, scattering in all directions. Only the crystal disc rolled towards Blaze Regret, jingling softly before laying still at his feet.

"This might be the last Turing on the continent."

Slightly bending over, Blaze Regret picked up the disc from the ground and couldn't help but sigh with emotion. The passage of time is always something that leaves one helpless, much like how people from the outside world will probably never know that within this ancient land lies a once incredibly glorious palace.

He lifted his head and looked at the topmost part of the hall, where a glowing orb hovered. On either side of the orb, wings seemed to form, emitting a gentle white light that slowly spread out.

"This must be the Flowing Sand Transformation Wings."

With a slight curl of his lips, Blaze Regret was just about to move when a mocking voice suddenly echoed from outside the stone gate.

"If I were you, I would stand right there obediently."

Accompanied by the sound of footsteps, four young men in yellow robes walked in with smiles on their faces. Their bodies blocked the stone gate firmly, and the way they looked at Blaze Regret was akin to a cat playing with a mouse.

Blaze Regret frowned subtly and turned his head, scanning his gaze slightly before his dark eyes settled on the chest of the leading young man.
