Chapter 242 - 241 Meng Qi

Chapter 242: Chapter 241 Meng Qi

The battle ended.

The young miss of the Fox Clan walked forward with standard cat-like grace, sizing up Wang Hao with every step she took.

“My name is Meng Qi, what’s yours!?” the Fox Clan’s young miss curiously asked.

“I am… the Bull Demon King!” Wang Hao thought for a moment and decided not to use his real name.

“Bull Demon King!?” Meng Qi was momentarily stunned, that name… it sounded so domineering!

“I am the captain of the bodyguard team assigned to protect Miss Meng Qi, my name is Niu Qi.” A Bull-man, two meters tall, came forward with a simple smile on his face, then enthusiastically clapped Wang Hao on the shoulder with an attitude suggesting they were all brothers.

“Niu Qi!?” Wang Hao’s eyelid twitched — this guy didn’t happen to have a brother named Chong Tian, did he?

Meng Qi’s brows knitted slightly, and then she smiled sweetly, “Mr. Niu, you said you just escaped back from the humans, do you have any evidence?”

Wang Hao glanced at Meng Qi; indeed his facial reconstruction theory could fool these brainless Bull-men, but it wasn’t of much use against other Half-Beasts.

After all, Half-Beasts simply looked different from humans, but that didn’t mean they were less intelligent; they were also considered high-level beings in the Universe.

“Evidence?” Niu Qi looked bewildered as he scratched his horns. Why would one need evidence to prove they escaped back home from humans?

Meng Qi rolled her eyes — these Bull-men were truly beyond help. Did they not require any proof of identity for such a suspicious character?

“The Bull-men are inherently equipped with the Frenzy Skill; I suppose Mr. Niu wouldn’t mind demonstrating it, would you!?” Meng Qi said with a smile, though her body tensed in readiness.

“Frenzy!?” Wang Hao scratched his chin. According to what Qiu Lei explained, each species among the Half-Beasts came with a Talent Skill; and for the Bull-men, it was Frenzy, which allowed them to double their combat power in an instant, though they would be very weak afterward.

“What!? You can’t go Berserk!?” Meng Qi’s eyes flashed a cold light as she went on the defensive.

The next second, a red light surrounded Wang Hao, and his aura multiplied in an instant, causing the ground around him to crack.

The innate Skill of a wolf pup, “Blood Boil!!”

“Haha, indeed, a brother of our own!” Niu Qi laughed heartily, tossing Wang Hao into the air, and the rest of the Bull-men also cheered and came forward to celebrate his safe return from the humans.

Meng Qi looked surprised; this man could actually go Berserk. Could he really be a Bull-man? But the disguise was incredibly thorough, wasn’t it? And why was his Frenzy slightly different from that of the Bull-men? Could it be an effect of the disguise!?

Meng Qi shook her head, deciding not to dwell on these matters; whether he was a fake or a real Bull-man, it had nothing to do with the Fox Clan.

“Everyone, it’s getting late; we need to hurry back,” Meng Qi reminded them.

The Bull-men nodded, and they stopped their commotion, all getting onto a few trucks.

Wang Hao watched these trucks, and couldn’t help but have some internal complaints; he had heard from Qiu Lei that the technology of the Alien Race wasn’t great, but he truly did not expect to see wheeled vehicles on the road.

Especially the car Meng Qi got into, though it was a luxury sedan which would have definitely been considered upscale back on Earth.

But to him, someone accustomed to seeing various Advanced spaceships, it was like having driven a Ferrari to then go ride a bicycle!

“If even the technology of a Level 4 planet is so backward, it’s easy to imagine why the Alien Star System really doesn’t have much to plunder. Otherwise, why would the Yao Tian Federation and the Interstellar Federation allow the Alien Race to survive up to this time?”

Wang Hao shook his head helplessly, wondering if with such a level of technology it would even be possible to obtain a spaceship and leave.

“Mr. Niu, hop in my RV, and let’s chat,” Meng Qi beckoned to Wang Hao from the RV door.

Wang Hao sighed. It seemed the vixen still didn’t trust him. Maybe he would have to sacrifice his good looks.

As soon as Wang Hao got into Meng Qi’s RV, the convoy started to slowly move forward.

After the convoy left, Bai Bian emerged from a corner. Although he hadn’t heard what Wang Hao and those Half-Beasts had said, he clearly saw how friendly they were to Wang Hao.

“What on Earth is this guy really about?” Bai Bian grumbled, frustrated. He found that no matter where Wang Hao ended up, he always seemed to thrive.

One should note that the grievances between humans and the Alien Race were complicated and inextricable. Yet here was Wang Hao, who had just arrived and was already on friendly terms with these aliens. Furthermore, he even got into the RV and seemed to be treated like a VIP.

If Wang Hao had disguised himself as a member of the Fox Clan, it would have been understandable.

But Wang Hao had only put on a pair of little bull horns; there were no other changes. Even if the Bull-men were idiots, they weren’t all blind, right? It’s clear they’re not the same species, okay?

What puzzled Bai Bian the most was that the woman from the Fox Clan also believed in Wang Hao. Could it be that the Half-Beasts hiding in the Alien Star System had forgotten what humans looked like?

“Never mind, let’s follow them and see!” Bai Bian moved like the wind, turning into a shadow that disappeared from the scene.

On the RV.

Meng Qi chuckled and asked, “Mr. Niu, you must have learned quite a lot from the humans, right?”

Although she still didn’t believe this was a post-surgery Bull-man, she was very curious about Wang Hao and also wanted to understand what the world of humans was really like.

Thinking this, Meng Qi’s fluffy tail swept in front of Wang Hao, and instantly, a fragrant smell filled the vehicle.

Wang Hao sniffed the fragrance and was momentarily dumbstruck. This wily vixen had invited him into the vehicle alone, and now she was using her scent to draw him in. Was she trying to pounce on him?

Thinking this, Wang Hao felt he must show this saucy vixen what it means to surf one wave after another, each more powerful than the last.

When Meng Qi noticed the upward curl of Wang Hao’s lips, revealing a smile both honest and sleazily extreme, she shivered all over and tightly clutched her tail as she shrank into a corner, like Little Red Riding Hood encountering the Big Bad Wolf.

His smile was so wicked that it made her feel like she was about to lose her virtue in the next second.

“Eh, something’s not quite right here!” Wang Hao, surprised, looked at Meng Qi. Wasn’t she the seductive vixen trying to entice him? Why did she seem frightened? Shouldn’t she be throwing herself at him?

Could this be a vixen of the decent housewife variety?

“What are you trying to do?!” Meng Qi huddled up, eyeing Wang Hao warily, but her heart was filled with fear and she didn’t feel safe at all.

Curious, Wang Hao looked at Meng Qi and probed, “Are you a virgin?”

Meng Qi’s pretty face turned red instantly, not just from embarrassment but also anger. What man asks such a blatantly personal question?

Moreover, she truly didn’t know how to answer. Of course, the most important thing was that she felt this Bull Demon King was completely different from the other Bull-men. What if she said yes and triggered his animalistic side, making her even more at risk?

But to say she was not would be a terrible disgrace for a woman of the Fox Clan. Fox women were conservative before marriage, not even touching a man’s hand. If she said no and word got out, it would be a huge scandal…
