Chapter 77 She's not here?!

Xander's eyes finally caught a man who just stood in place while staring at the massacre with wide eyes.

Lucas couldn't believe it. This... kid in front of him didn't even lift a finger and people were dieing. He finally turned to see Xander behind him, his glowing red eyes and wide grin making him look like a devil.

"Look what you brought these people." Xander gazed at the bodies on the ground. He tilted hus head a little as a bullet flew past him.

Lucas was terrified. Seeing so much blood everywhere and body parts that he didn't recognize he felt nauseous.

This was why he didn't want to become a doctor in the past. He couldn't stand the sight of anything bloody so he switched to computer engineering.

"Their blood is on your hands now." Xander's voice reached the man's ears and he immediately passed out with a thud as his body fell to the ground without resistance.

"Hm." Xander turned around to face the battle field before sending a telepathic message to his legion.

'Bring the rest of them alive.'

The onslaught stopped and the demons brought back eleven people alive; five men and six women who were heavily or minorly injured.

Xander walked towards the people, causing them to shiver in terror as they saw this young adult do stuff that were only seen in a movie.

"Where are you guys keeping her?"

The group of people who were tied up were all co fused by his question as they shook their head while whispering incoherent words.

Seeing that none of them was willing to talk Xander opted for another alternative.

"Where is your leader?" Xander said to a particular person and she looked up to see him.

"I– I don't know." The young woman was shivering in fear.

Seeing that she was useless to him Xander's mind scythe moved in a horizontal angle before stopping.

"Anyone wants to tell me where your boss is?"

All of the people there silently turned to the scythe and the energy that wrapped it, followed by the domineering aura of the weapon made them scared... most of them at least.

"We–we won't speak. When our God comes we'll be raised back from the dead anyway so you can go ahead and kill us." A brave young woman said with her head held high, her determination and unwaverting loyalty to the purpose of their establishment shining.

"SHUT up bitch! Good sir! Our boss is not in this base currently." A weaker, frail man said with dirty beard.

He looked terrified as he didn't want to die. Behind him was the Dandelion who growled lowly, making his heart accelerate.

"This isn't the only base?!" Xander asked out in surprise.

For so long Terrox have been looking for the base of the ghoulshippers and now that they found it Xander is hearing that there are multiple bases.

"Have you seen this woman in this base?" Xander asked as he opened his phone and brought up the picture of his mom for the people.

"No."

"N–No sir."

"At all."

Most of them Shook their heads but when he got to the arrogant looking girl's side she squinted her brows as she recognised the woman.

"I've seen her before. With the boss. But like my colleague said, our boss is not in this base." She said, not looking at Xander in the eye.

"She's not here?!" Xander was shocked but he immediately regained his composure. "Then where is the base that your boss is currently in?!"

Before the lady could answer a voice came from the pipe leading to the surface world.

"Xander!"

Two aero-bikes descended to see a bloodied area with fore and blood, dead bodies and bullets littered everywhere.

"My God." Natasha whispered silently as she observed the field.

"Woah. Looks like a monster came through here." Yukimura said and Harry who was holding him couldn't help but feel the vomit coming even more.

Hannah was stupefied. But she wasn't freaked out like Harry as she has seen things like this before.

As she looked at the scene images of dead people began flashing before her eyes; her parents in a car accident, in the orphanage where she grew up, her caretaker shot and killed, and many more like that.

In front of them were Xander and four inhuman beings who held a group of people but they didn't get a good look at the demons as they turned into red flames and vanished the next second.

'I don't want them finding out about my powers yet.' Xander thought.

As Xander was distracted the brave and Arrogant lady pulled out a small cylindrical pill from her pocket and smashed it on the ground.

Xander heard her standing up but he was blinded by the sudden burst of white light which blinded him. He had night vision... not light vision so it had more impact on him.

The ones on gravity bikes stopped as the light disabled their view and immediately, Yukimura reached for the button beside the glasses and adjusted it to white light.

There he saw the group of people carrying a man and running into a door before pressing a button. Yukimira didn't even know who they were but he drove towards them nonetheless.

Before he got to the door a force pushed the bike backwards, throwing both Yukimira and Harry off the bike.

The elevator that they entered suddenly closed and they were shot into the floor.

When Xander got himself he could hear faint sounds coming from the surroundings and it didn't take a second for the sound to clear out.

"SELF DESTRUCT IN T-MINUS 30 SEXONDS."

"You're Xander time to go!" Yukimura shouted as he picked up Harry and boarded one of the aero-bikes and rode into the huge pipe leading to the surface world.

Xander immediately got the gist and summoned a chain which hooked the bike that Natashe drove and they headed back to the surface with nothing.

In the air Xander looked at the mining factory and his demons who were scaring people away from the area with a tranquil expression. He summoned them back when the area was clear and in less than five seconds, a mushroom cloud of flames erupted from the ground.
