Chapter 95 Incubus

The General and the paladins had difficulty breathing as the chains wrapping them got tighter.

"I... I don't."

Xander released the hold on the men a little and that's when they finally got to breathe.

"I–I don't know what you're... talking about."

Xander gazed at the knights there and then... he listened, to their heartbeats.

He was hearing a particularly chaotic one so he focused on that.

He suddenly opened his eyes and a chain shot into the crowd of knights but it dodged all of them before it got to its target.

Xander looked at the crowd and with a wave of his hand, the chains dragged a particular person out.

It was a knight in training!

His heart beat was chaotic so it was normal to think that he knew something.

The guy was average in looks and the fearful expression on his face worsened his looks.

"What do you know?"

The guy swallowed spit before he noticed the paladins looking at him with furrowed brows.

He has no choice but to talk now.

The guy sighed before finally talking.

"It wasn't us that initiated it. The king wanted a little girl that we saw when we were coming back from sea exploration and since he– since he r–raped the little girl he has been demanding us to get more for him."

"B–but I swear we tried to tell the king how it was b–but he said we'll be executed. Please I have a family." A teardrop formed in the guy's eyes.

The crowd went into disarray as they heard the statement from their fellow knight, Chris.

"No wonder he left the castle with those his friends every night."

"They really did that for the king?"

"I would rather die."

"Think about it. They had no choice."

"Running away is a choice."

"To where? Dragon mountain? Swamp of the dead? Dread beast valley?"

"The girl is riddled with scars. What did the king do to her?"

"The king is scum."

"Yeah, a disgrace of a man."

"A bastard."

Three other people came out from the crowd and all got down on their knees in front of Xander.

"Please don't kill Chris."

"We came from a very poor family."

"Please spare us."

Xander closed his eyes, his fists balled.

He understood that it wasn't their fault but the anger is welling inside him. Because of this he missed one simple thing... the reason he came here in the first place.

'Harry and Hannah!'

Xander untied all the knights in that moment and he walked towards the corpse that was burnt to a crisp.

He then stretched his hand in front of him towards the burnt body and closed his eyes.

"What's he doing now?"

"Someome can kill him now if they want."

"Why don't you do it, you idiot?"

"What if he opens his eyes, I would be done for..."

Xander focused on the energy within him. The crimson energy, he moved it towards his palm and then a notification appeared in front of his eyes.

[Do you wish to demonify the disgrace, level 9 king Edgrid? (Think about it.)]

He opened his eyes and when he read them he smiled but he needed the king alive. He indeed acted out hastily.

In that moment red flames started appearing around the debris and they began to gather on top of the burnt body and soon, a layer of red flames covered the king and it got bigger until...

*BOOM!*

The red flames shot upwards, forming a flame tornado that resembled a spinning pillar that illuminated the area as the clouds were dark.

Xander looked at the pillar, his gaze unwavering as he was the master of what was happening.

After an entire minute a figure emerged from the flames.

The knights around couldn't go anywhere and wanted to know what was going to happen and why Xander was putting his hand over the body and now was the time.

An extremely handsome man emerged from the flame, making Xander angry the more.

[You have created a new demon, Incubus.]

[Demon level: 9]

[Description: The Incubus race are sought out by a lot of powerful women because of how good they are at having sex. They get stronger by having sex and most of their powers are sex related. An Incubus has more to his powers than just sex and has control over darkness.]

Xander was even more annoyed but he just calmed down. As he really needed the king right now.

"What the fuck is that?"

"How can a creature look so good?"

"DAAAAAMNNNN!!"

"Is that the king?"

"The king? Impossible. The king can never look like that, even in his sixth life."

"The body is missing! It might really be the king."

"This is weird as fuck."

"You know what? I quit being an imperial knight. I'm outta here."

The king's now even just a little bit taller than him with long black hair flowing down his back, pale white, smooth skin. On his forehead were two horns that bent backwards, cutting between his perfect hair.. On his back were two bst wings which had hard scales behind and finally, there was a tail with an arrow at the tip behind him.

The king didn't say anything and looked embarrassed. Firstly, he was naked but Xander didn't look down there because of rage.

If he looks there he might actually punch it.

Like all the other demons, the Incubus kneeled before him with a head down.

"I need extremely valuable information from you. I'll describe the people I'm looking for and you'll tell me where they are." Xander said with an emotionless expression and the Incubus nodded while on his knees.

Xander proceeded to describe Harry and Hannah and how they looked for the Incubus as ear as he could.

"I heard they were arrested. Where are they now?" Xander asked.

He was inwardly nervous and anxious for the reply. So many people has been leaving him lately and he really hope that Harry and Hannah were alright.

"The guards couldn't hold them. They were too strong. So I offered to help them off of the island in exchange for their absence." The Incubus said.

"Off the island? To where?" Xander raised a brow.

"To mainland."
