Chapter 56 Sword Body Awakening
Chapter 56 Sword Body Awakening
Kent placed the Aura Stone on the ground and began absorbing its energy. The process was similar to drawing energy from the air to strengthen one's cultivation base. All it required was to focus on the stone, and the energy would naturally flow into the body.
From there, the energy had to be guided through the body into the dantian, where it would temper the sword aura.
However, in Kent's case, things were much simpler. The process activated automatically when he accessed his cultivation technique. He didn't need to concentrate or guide the energy—it was all seamless for him.
As the energy surged into his body, Kent felt a powerful warmth spreading through his core. His aura began to grow stronger, radiating with a faint silver glow. The sword aura within him sharpened like a blade being honed to perfection.
"Is it supposed to be this fast, Tower?" Kent asked.
[No, Master. It is because of the mutation in your cultivation technique. Your cultivation technique is now automated. So whenever you are near an energy source, all you have to do is give it the green light, and it will start working.]
"How awesome," Kent remarked.
Suddenly, Kent's aura began to surge as more and more energy was absorbed into him. His sword aura started to intensify, becoming sharper—much sharper by the second.
"I guess the Tower wasn't exaggerating when it said the aura stone was something every swordsman would cherish," Kent muttered.
Suddenly, the Tower began displaying messages. However, Kent paid them little attention. When the first message appeared, his shirt was instantly burned to ash, revealing intricate markings that started to emerge on his skin.
The stone on the ground was immediately drained of its energy.

[Congratulations... Because of the awakening of the sword body, the Sword Tower has partially awakened.]
[The next level of the Sword Mind has been unlocked; 10,002 sword moves have been added to the Sword Mind.]
"Damn, what happened, Tower? Why do I feel like my body has now become a sword?" Kent asked, examining his hand.
Everything happened so fast that he didn't know just how to describe it.
The runes were glowing faintly around it. It felt like an illusion. Even looking at them made him feel nostalgic. It felt like he had experienced it before, yet he didn't know from where or when.
[The master has awakened his sword body, meaning you can now be called a master Swordsman. However, you have to earn that by practicing the 10,002 sword moves and mastering all 10,002]
"Interesting," Kent said, pondering on something. A few seconds later, he said, "Tower, show me the description of my sword body."

"Wow, this is just too much to take in," Kent sighed, reading the descriptions. It looked too good to be true; however, looking at the runes on his body, he could tell it was real.
Plus, he could even feel the strength coursing through him, even without holding a sword.
"Tower, why are the runes dimming now?" Kent asked immediately as he noticed the runes flickering out.
[Your sword body has finished merging with your bloodline. As you cultivate, your sword body will continue to grow. However, the Master is advised to look for more treasures with sword-type energy within them to absorb.]
"What about the legacy? What is it, and why is it locked?"
[The legacy is a sword you will inherit when the Sword Tower fully awakens. It's a sword that will better suit your sword body.]
"I see. Then I have to look for more of these treasures and see how far they can take me," Kent said before standing up. The aura stone had been sucked dry, and he could only wish he had more of it.
"I guess I can start practicing the Sword Mind now." Kent quickly picked up his sword and went to an open space right behind the small mansion he was staying in with his master.
"Tower, how do I go forward with this new upgrade?" Kent asked.
[The Master just needs to focus on the technique, and he will know what to do.]
Kent opened and closed his eyes, then began focusing on the Sword Mind technique. Immediately, images began flashing before his eyes.
Images of different sword moves flickered before him for thirty minutes before they stopped. When they did, Kent felt his mind filled with 10,002 sword moves—all foreign to him.
"I guess that's what I was looking for," he muttered. With a sigh, he drew the sword and placed the sheath down.
He then focused his attention on the 10,002 moves and began practicing. He moved in sync with the techniques imprinted in his mind, each motion flowing seamlessly from the next.
His mind was immediately absorbed in the movements. The sword in his hand began glowing faintly with sword qi, and his sword intent gradually spread, encompassing the area around him.
The process just clicked the moment he started the movement and soon, he was deep into it. Ten Hours passed within the blink of an eye yet Kent wasn't showing any signs of coming out of the weird state he was in.
Twenty hours passed, and he was still at it. By this point, his sword qi had grown much more pronounced, radiating visibly around him. His sword intent, too, had intensified significantly as he continued honing his techniques.
While this might seem extraordinary to many, the truth was that Kent had only mastered 402 moves so far despite the 20 hours of continuous practice.
But results, however, were starting to show. Although he had just started, the signs were showing. Of course, that was just the initial stages of the path he chose to walk. His inheritance came with a sword path, the Genesis path, and Kent had just started walking that path.
Of course, he wouldn't realize this until he completed all 10,002 sword moves. Yet, even at this early stage, he had unknowingly started showing the signs.
According to the Tower, although his current status was that of a sword master, he would only earn the title of a true sword master after mastering every one of those 10,002 moves.
And thus, Kent's journey as a true swordsman had just begun.
