Chapter 113 The Durability of Aaron's Magic Dome

Chapter 113 The Durability of Aaron's Magic Dome

Sara and the others nodded, agreeing to what Arthur had said. Arthur flew low from the sky above the hill into the group's base, the three women following while holding tight to the servant who took them.

Arthur's presence drew the attention of many people. They wondered about the man and why he had come to their base. Arthur's three servants disappeared after their job was done.

"Who are you? What do you want here?" asked a man, a member of the blue group.

"I want to see your group leader."

"You can't meet with—"

"I'm here!" said a woman, a charming face in a long uniform similar to a witch's dress. She had long, wavy black hair with a scarf wrapped from one hand to the other through her back.

The woman stepped gracefully onto the land of her group's base. She introduced herself as Levia, the leader of the Blue Wheat group —a strange name. Afterward, Levia asked about Arthur's identity and the three women who came with him.

Arthur explained that they were the 13th Sky Sword squad members on the tenth floor. They were looking for a safe shelter, and the Blue Wheat group could be a suitable choice for them.

"You seem to be in the wrong place, Mr. Arthur. This is not a safe place for you or anyone else. The Black Sword group has been trying to seize our base," Levia replied, looking outside the base, precisely towards the group wearing all-black uniforms, the Black Sword group.

The young man nodded. From Levia's face, Arthur could sense an expression of worry and fear, as well as a hint of anger through the direction of the sharply dipped eyebrows.

Still, looking at the situation this time, Levia and the Blue Wheat group had no way to withstand the power of the Black Sword.

"I'm actually worried. If you stay with us, you'll be injured," Levia replied.

"Let me and my friends stay at this base. In return, I will protect this place until you guys can recover. How about it?" asked Arthur, starting to negotiate.

"Protect this place? The Blue Wheat Group's base is quite large; it will take up your MP drastically."

"Are you interested or not?" asked Arthur, not wanting to answer Levia's question and preferring to reconfirm what decision the woman would make.

Levia was silent for a moment, but then she turned around and stepped quite far away from Arthur. Apparently, the woman was discussing this with her members. Arthur and Sara couldn't hear their talk.

After five minutes of waiting, Levia nodded and walked back to Arthur with her decision.

"Alright. You can stay here for three days. In that period, I want you to protect this base until we can completely recover our conditions," Levia emphasized.

"Agreed!"

Arthur's footsteps felt light as he slowly floated again into the sky of the group's base. Levia and the Blue Wheat Group members gaped in shock, not thinking that Arthur could fly freely without any tools.

Arthur flew high above the top of the building that became the group's symbol, the windmill. His right palm opened before Arthur, revealing six Dark Crystals used as summoning materials for soul servants.

However, what Arthur wanted to do was completely different. He threw each of the six Dark Crystals to the far end of this place.

Right after it was planted on the ground, a purple pillar appeared. To the surprise of many people, Levia even asked them to stay away from the pillar for a moment.

The purple pillar soared up until it was clearly visible to the members of the Black Sword group. Their leader, Ado, felt a strange power from the purple pillar.

"What's happening?" Ado's aide asked.

"I don't know. But the purple power is very strange. I don't want my members to die from something I don't know yet."

"Are we retreating? We almost seized the Blue Wheat base," replied Adjutant Ado. Discover hidden tales at empire

"Aren't you listening to me, goddamn it?! Withdraw all members back to the base before something bad happens."

"A-Alright, Captain."

A bell tolled from the Black Sword base, heard by everyone all the way to the Blue Wheat base. Levia squinted, surprised to see dozens of Black Sword members running back to their base, a chance for the remaining Blue Wheat members to recover.

A spherical purple light appeared at the tips of Arthur's two right-hand fingers. With an upward hand move, he sent the purple sphere flying, and it made a small explosion in the air. The dome wall began slowly forming from the blast to adjust the soaring purple pillar.

A powerful shield of Arthur's purple magic protected the entire Blue Wheat base area. Levia tried to touch the wall, but it seemed translucent when she touched it. Arthur explained that the magic only allowed Blue Wheat members to enter.

"I can guarantee the strength of this magic wall can withstand any attack from them," Arthur replied, flying low until he was right before Levia.

"We'll see during the battle. Thank you for your help, Arthur."

"No problem. As we agreed, you need to give us temporary shelter," Arthur replied.

"Of course. I will not let you down."

Levia ordered her members to lead the three women to visit an available house, usually occupied by guests visiting the Blue Wheat group.

Levia didn't mind if they stayed there for a while; they were guests of the Blue Wheat.

Arthur smiled, thanked and said goodbye to Levia. The young man went to the house after Levia gave him permission.

Now, Arthur and Sara, as well as the others, didn't have to worry about where they would sleep.

Day turned into night. Mona spent time in the hot spring; Karen went to train with some Blue Wheat members, while Sara went for a walk around the base with Levia.

Arthur sat cross-legged on the wooden tiles of his room, accompanied by an aromatherapy incense stick that made his body feel relaxed and chilled out. Right there, Arthur used the time to perform attribute enhancements.

Looking at the numbers on his attribute status, he remembered the item he got after yesterday's massacre. He brought up the item and held it in his hand.

[Item Details:]

[Name: Status Attribute Full Booster]

[Grade: 5]

[Quantity: 1]

[Description: Able to increase the host's status attribute by +250 points]

'250 points? That's a big number. My CP should rise significantly,' Arthur replied.

Simply, Arthur crushed the object in his palm, and the number of points described slowly appeared before Arthur's face, informing him about the attribute that got the additional points.

'Just a bit more until I reach 300000 CP,' Arthur said.

Even so, Arthur was pretty impressed with the numbers shown on the panel. The number had a significant effect when Arthur used his magic power, not his talent.

BOM!

The explosion sound filled the group's base. Arthur noticed the fluctuating location of the energy blast coming from the outermost direction; Arthur could feel it through the purple magic wall he used to protect the base.

Arthur stepped outside and saw the enemy was bombarding the purple dome wall protecting the Blue Wheat base. Levia and Sara stood staring at the dome wall, shocked to see the attack from the Black Sword group had no significant impact on the dome shield.

"It seems what Arthur said was right. This dome can protect every one of us," Levia replied.

"Never doubt him. He's the strongest, bravest, and most reckless person I've known in my entire life."
